Our task is to find a way to stop the enemy forces, though we will have to fight not only with Sarahul’s scouts, but also monsters that dwell in the desert. Fortunately, the protagonist posses many supernatural powers, which can be used to deal with various types of enemies and fall into one of three categories: telekinesis, terraforming powers, and control of elementals. Son of Nor promotes the players’ creativity, with any problem being solvable in several ways. Aside from a single player campaign, there is also cooperation mode for up to four players.

An elite marine squad defending the local colonies has to face not only hordes of monsters, but also a powerful space storm. Both single and multiplayer modes received a story campaign. The single player campaign offers 14 missions divided into two subplots. The plot of the multiplayer follows two separated marine squads, while the gameplay is focused around cooperation of 8-man teams. The game offers 8 character classes and randomly generated locations, helping to deal with repetitiveness and weariness ensuing from having to play through the same sequences.
