EverQuest II: Age of Discovery is the 8th DLC for a MMORPG called EverQuest II, well-known and regarded since 2004. The expansion was developed by Daybreak Game Company, people who also developed the original game in 1999, and have been maintaining the franchise ever since. Contrary to the previous expansion, this one doesn’t introduce new locations, focusing on tweaking the gameplay mechanics instead. The greatest novelty is the so-called Dungeon Master mode, which allows for creating custom dungeons and sharing them online. Apart from that, a character class well-known from the first game returns with this DLC, namely the Beastlord. EverQuest II: Age of Discovery also introduces a possibility of reforging items, allowing the player to enhance them with totally new stats.
