The expansion brings a set of previously unavailable buildings and structures enabling us to affect how the environment looks. Apart from that, Absolute Power introduces Megalomania Edicts into the game - the player can demonstrate their power through having gold statues built, creating their own currency or organizing a festival in the name of the dictator. Also, the Loyalists are a new faction that helps the player to build up their power. The set of new features is complemented by four new avatars (2 male and 2 female), dozens of palace upgrades, improved radio news (more precise in presenting the situation), as well as a new kind of rural roads (gravel).
