Expansion to an arcade action game Tomb Raider II: The Dagger of Xian, the second part of the adventures of Lara Croft, one of the most famous heroes in the history of electronic entertainment. Tomb Raider II: The Golden Mask upgrades the basic game with a separate mini campaign, comprised of four main levels, and one bonus level, available after finding all artifacts. This time, the famous archelologist begins the search for the titular golden mask, which leads her to a small island on the Bering sea. During the expedition, Lara visits, among others, the desolate mines of Alaska, were she meets new enemies and riddles. When it comes to mechanics, Tomb Raider II is based on the solutions from the basic game – we are still dealing with a arcade 3D platform game. Our task is still to traverse varied levels, filled with various obstacles, artefacts, riddles and dangerous enemies – we use our two pistols to deal with the latter.
