A tenth installment in the popular baseball game series, translating the most popular and the most important Major League Baseball moments into the video game setting. When compared to its predecessor, MLB 15: The Show offers updated teams and line-ups. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 releases feature also more appealing visuals, improved ball physics, better AI algorithms, and new player animations. All this allows the players to observe completely new situations on the field. Moreover, the player-handling model has been somewhat simplified in order to make the analog stick controls more user-friendly. For the first time in the series’ history, the game features a licensed baseball gear (bats, helmets, apparel, etc.). Thanks to the improved management module players can sign new sponsorship contracts with companies existing in the real world. Additionally, the team management system has been improved, making it easier to acquire and train new players. Developers also implemented into the game the Inside The Show radio broadcast, which is filled with the up-to-date news and comments on the 2015’s league games.

Just like the games released in 2014 and 2015, R.B.I. Baseball 16 enables you to become a manager of a selected baseball team from MLB to play one full season and off-season matches for the main trophy. R.B.I. Baseball 16 offers authentic and complete squads for all teams and detailed statistics for particular players, updated regularly during the 2016 season. Significant new features in version 16 include new moves (dives, wall-catches, pump-fakes), improved AI of defensive players, better ball hitting system and upgraded graphics. Apart from single player career and quick match modes, R.B.I. Baseball 16 offers also a versus option for two players playing on one computer or console (it is unavailable on mobile devices).

As always, we are dealing with an extensive baseball simulator with numerous managerial features. The game offers a wide range of game modes, from single matches up to whole seasons. The campaign sees us lead the chosen team, not only during the games, but also deciding upon the choice of players, their training, and transfers. Similarly to the previous years, the player database is updated on-the-fly through a continuous connection with MLB 2017/2018 season servers. The biggest novelty of MLB: The Show 17 is the Retro mode, introducing a gameplay inspired by baseball titles from 8 and 16 bit consoles. Moreover, we are given a number of multiplayer modes.

We play as a person that manages both baseball team and its infrastructure as well as all financial aspects, among which we have to take care of the team's budget, sign new sponsor contracts or pay people that work with us. During the game we can transfer players, set training programs, create our team's line-up and create tactics for given matches. When compared to the previous games in this series that started in 1998, Out of the Park Baseball 18 has many changes and improvements such as better AI of the virtual players, injury system and team morale. Besides having the opportunity to play in matches from the 2017/18 season the game also features historical USA leagues of Afro-Americans that existed throughout the first sixty years of the XX century. Besides various modes for a single player the game also has a multiplayer mode. Additionally, the game's graphics are improved when compared to the previous titles.
