An isometric action adventure game with elements of a 3D platformer. LEGO Horizon Adventures shows Aloy and the world of Horizon in a more humoristic LEGO form. We can recreate events from Horizon Zero Dawn and the additional focus is on building things with LEGO bricks.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is an action adventure game with an isometric view and 3D platform elements, in which we visit the universe of the Horizon series. The creators of the adventures of the red-haired warrior Aloy, Guerrilla Games studio, collaborated with Gobo studio responsible for this title.
In LEGO Horizon Adventures we play the role of the protagonist of the previous games, Aloy, with whom we experience known adventures from a completely new, humorous perspective. The game is mainly based on the story told in the first installment of the series - Horizon Zero Dawn.
The action in the game takes place in the distant future, in which Earth is ruled by machines resembling animals and dinosaurs. The main heroine was found by the hunter Rost as a child. He taught her everything he knows.
One day, Aloy decides to embark on a journey to discover her destiny. It is guided by the ancient hologram of a scientist Elisabet Sobeck. As humanity quickly realizes, extinction is threatening. Only Aloy can face Helis, who leads the Sun-Worshippers and wants to awaken the Ancient Evil.
During the game we travel through locations known from previous installments of the series, including Cauldrons from which aggressive robots emerge. During skirmishes with them, our warrior can barrage them with a hail of arrows from her bow or try hand-to-hand combat.
Apart from struggling with robots, we are given the opportunity to build various things. In this way, everyone can add unique buildings in the Heart of the Mother, the village of Aloy's tribe. This allows for personalization of this well-known location in a completely new and fun way.
LEGO Horizon Adventures was designed for collaborative play through co-op mode for two players, both on a shared screen and online. For this purpose, the game supports crossplay, thanks to which we can join forces with another player regardless of the platform they use.
We can also embark on an adventure alone.

LEGO Horizon Adventures has some positives. The title is perfectly suited for younger audiences, offering friendly humor, beautiful and colorful graphics, and plenty of accessibility options. However, other players might feel unsatisfied due to repetitive content and the short playtime. I have no doubt that it could have been done better.

Lego Horizon Adventures isn't a perfect fit, but Sony's charmer snaps together where it counts.
Wccftech: 6.5 / 10 by Nathan Birch
Lego Horizon Adventures carries over a lot of the things previous Horizon games did well, offering lush visuals, a likable cast, and a wide range of robo dinos to take down. Unfortunately, not everything survived blockification, with an overly-simplified story, sometimes-unsatisfying core gameplay, bland level design, and an overall lack of content resulting in a Lego game that’s a few bricks shy of a load.
