Horizon Video Game Series

The series Horizon takes us on a journey to a post-apocalyptic world of the future, in which humanity (or, in fact, what's left of it) has divided into communities reminiscent of prehistoric tribes, while the Earth has been overrun by machines reminiscent of animals and dinosaurs. In the first installment of the series, we play Aloy - an orphan and clan outcast, who tries to discover the mystery of her origins by learning the identity of her mother. As if by the way, the girl learns more and more about the fallen civilization, as well as the world around her and the danger lurking in it. In the second installment of the series, Aloy travels to the titular west to investigate a new danger in the form of a mysterious plague threatening all living things. W Horizon: Call of the Mountain on the other hand, we take on the role of a warrior named Ryas, who, while investigating the new threat, seeks to regain his lost honor.

Main parts of the series Horizon are action adventure games with RPG elements, featuring action from a third-person perspective (TPP). Their main attraction is the vast and picturesque open worlds and dynamic and impressive clashes with various machines. We eliminate robots by making use of an extensive arsenal, gradually stripping them of their weapons and armor and targeting their weak points. An elaborate crafting system is also at our disposal; based on resources found along the way, we can produce useful items and upgrade our equipment. In addition to the missions pushing the plot forward, there are numerous tasks and side activities waiting to be checked. Some changes in mechanics were introduced by the game Horizon: Call of the Mountain; in it the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP), and the adventure leads us through a variety of locations with a closed structure.

Series Horizon can boast a graphic design of very high quality. With attention to detail was designed not only the game world, but also the machines with which we often face.
