An unusual logic game developed by a Polish studio Paplus International. The developers were inspired by the popular Monument Valley. The plot of Ghost of Memories tells the story of a lone adventurer who acquires an ancient scepter during one of his travels. The artifact speaks with the voice of a woman trapped inside the scepter’s head. She offers to unlock the powers dormant in the item if the hero decides to free her. Thanks to its power, the traveler can manipulate reality and create inter-dimensional portals, which help him face encountered difficulties and various traps. During the game, we observe the situation from an isometric view, while the player focuses on solving environmental riddles that involve various mechanisms and physical phenomenon, such as optical illusions. The developers prepared a relatively small selection of levels (15 available); however the level of detail and advancement of the encountered puzzles should outweigh even this downside.

The game takes us to the titular submerged metropolis ruled by sentient machines. We play as a girl named Styx and her faithful companion Dron on their quest for revenge. Subaeria’s gameplay is based on exploration. We observe the 3D world from an isometric perspective, and since the heroine can’t use weapons, she must try to manipulate hostile robots (known as The Cleaners) to make them fight each other. This is where the little drone comes into play, as it can be used to control the robotic adversaries. The gameplay is complemented by good-looking 3D visuals.

Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest could not, of course, do without typical elements of a card game. Thus, we collect cards during the game that represent characters, spells, artifacts, etc. Then we use them to build our own deck, which is used during a duel allows us to achieve different effects and employ different combat strategies.

Unlike most previous entries in the franchise featuring the ball-eating hero, PAC-Man Bounce is a puzzle game – we don’t directly control the protagonist, instead manipulating the surroundings to help him collect all items needed to pass a level. While Pac-Man moves on a predetermined track, bouncing from walls, there are objects that can be used to change his direction. There's over a hundred stages with increasing difficulty, and we can somewhat compete with others through online rankings, integrated with Facebook. This is complemented by good-looking, colorful and legible visuals. The game is distributed as free-to-play title with microtransactions.

Both in terms of the story and the gameplay mechanics The Room Three is a successor of the first two parts of the series. At the same time gameplay was significantly expanded. Each chapter offers a sequence of puzzles scattered across adjacent rooms, where you proceed as you successfully overcome in-game obstacles. This makes The Room Three somewhat similar to classic logic adventure games, like the cult Myst. Interactions with individual pieces of puzzles are once again based on functionality of the touch screen, however, some new options were introduced when it comes to controls. The Room Three also offers a very useful hint system. What remained unchanged are: the game’s unique atmosphere and impressive, at least for a mobile game, graphics.

A 2D logic puzzle platform game for Nintendo 3DS. In Boxboy!, you play as a nice, square protagonist called Qbby, who can create exact copies of himself. There are many logic puzzles to complete — in every level, you have to arrange special blocks in a given order to form a certain configuration to progress. There are 17 levels and they vary in terms of challenges. Later levels feature such dangers as lasers or deadly spikes. The biggest challenge in Boxboy!, however, is the fact that there is a limit on how many squares you can create in a single level. Given that every map features special collectibles and that most solutions can only be found by trial and error, you can quickly run out of blocks. Boxboy! features minimalist black-and-white visuals utilizing simple shapes such as squares and triangles.

While playing, we have to, for example, disable explosives or neutralize various kinds of traps. The protagonist’s telekinetic abilities will surely come in handy. Just like the title suggests, death is an integral part of the gameplay of I Expect You To Die, and the hero can die in a variety of ways: either because of his own carelessness or solving puzzles by trial and error. The game is enriched with a large dose of unique humor as well as numerous references to classical action movies, especially those about the exploits of James Bond.

This time the player is tasked with stopping the evil Rancid who obtained the supercropsies and uses them to achieve his villainous goals. The story of the game is just an excuse for the actual gameplay which in Farm Heroes Super Saga is based on the rules of the match-3 genre. It is a light logic game in which the gameplay focuses on moving colorful vegetables and fruits in order to combine them into vertical and horizontal lines consisting of at least three similar pieces. This removes them from the map and gives points to the player. It also allows for completion of various side missions. From time to time the player will face a challenging boss as well. Various power-ups make the game more interesting. They make it easier to complete levels and obtain more and more points.

It also presents players with previously unseen board of Karazhan tower and enhances gameplay with portals, which warp time and space to allow for summoning of random minions. Finally, there are more class-specific challenges that enable us to acquire special cards.

In the game, we are taken to a slightly surreal world from Bob’s dreams, where he has to face his own fears, traversing several lands full of various obstacles. The gameplay mechanics are based mainly on exploration and solving puzzles by manipulating objects in the environment. Everything is governed by the realistic physics engine that manages the behavior of all items and the unusual controls that are characterized by significant inertia of the protagonist. Human: Fall Flat is designed not to impose any specific way of doing things but to reward creativity and the ability to think outside the box.

Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne is the sixth expansion for the free-to-play card game Hearthstone. It was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and can be bought through the game’s store for either real or in-game currency. This expansion focuses on Lich King’s army and his kingdom of Northrend. Just like the Whispers of the Old Gods DLC, Knights of the Frozen Throne tells an alternate version of the well-known events. This time we will see what would have happened if the greatest heroes of Azeroth (Jauna Proudmoore, Rexxar, and others) became Death Knights, the undead servants of the Lich King. Knights of the Frozen Throne continues Blizzard’s policy of not releasing small Adventure DLCs and focusing on bigger ones. We get a set of 135 cards inspired by the Lich King’s army and the theme of death, including nine cards of a completely new type – Hero Cards. After using them, our hero changes into a Death Knight, gets a new portrait, war cry, ability, and a few points of armor which allows us to change our play style. We can test the new cards in PvP matches or in the single player campaign, during which we will be able to face the Lich King himself. The expansion also introduces a new battlefield and card backs.
