A brutal, although humorous, logic platformer game by Four Door Lemon, an independent British studio. We assume the role of an assistant of the mad professor Splattunfuder’s, who at the end of his career decided to create an unusual guide that describes 101 ways of dying. As a result of unfortunate events, the initial version of his “work” was destroyed, and our task is to help the scientist recreate it with the use of hordes of creatures called Splatts, which were bred solely for this purpose. The gameplay mechanics of 101 Ways to Die can be described as an inverted version of the popular Lemmings, since our job is not to help but to prevent the innocent, although not too intelligent, Splatts from escaping. On each level, we have to devise an adequate strategy and then set a number of fancy traps; then, we only have to watch the execution of our plan.

A relaxing arcade/logic game developed by an independent studio thatgamecompany. FlOw is somewhat similar in essence to the classic Snake game, popular on old mobile phones. The player’s task is to control a shapeshifting creature in such a way that it eats organisms smaller than itself, increasing its size in the process. The game doesn’t contain any plot, while the main incentive to continue playing is gradual access to new creatures with different abilities. Despite simple rules, the success in the game requires some thought. Some of the encountered enemies have weak points that can be accessed only using certain power-ups, such as temporary invincibility or speed boost. The game is complemented by relaxing music, as well as original visuals – individual organisms are similar to creatures only seen through a microscope.

While Pac-Man moves on a predetermined track, bouncing from walls, there are objects that can be used to change his direction. An old-school logic game featuring elements of adventure and platformer games. This is the debut of the Triple Eh? studio led by Gareth Noyce. Lumo pays tribute to various games from the 80s and 90s. The gameplay consists of exploring over 400 different chambers, where the player mainly solves puzzles, avoids traps and discovers secrets. The game is played from the classic isometric view, and the player observes only a section of the location they are visiting at a given time - it can be a platform, a room or a corridor suspended in mid-air. It is relatively difficult to make progress in the game. Despite the fact that Lumo makes numerous references to the classics of the genre, it offers modern-day visuals with impressive lighting effects and high-definition textures.

A logic game inspired by Chromatron and Aargon. Archaica: The Path Of Light is the debut production of TwoMammoths, a Polish development studio. The title puts an incredibly responsible task in the player’s hands: to save the humanity from extinction. To achieve this, we have to activate special defense mechanisms by leading a beam of light through the forgotten path of the ancients. In practice, it means operating mirrors so that they reflect light into magic crystals that provide energy to machines. This task is made difficult by numerous obstacles such as stone blocks that we have to move or gates that need to be opened. The game is further enriched with secrets that reveal some details about the story. We uncover them by directing a beam of light at obelisks marked with hieroglyphs. The single player campaign offers five areas divided into several levels. We gain access to them from the world map, and the stages we’ve completed can be replayed. Archaica: The Path Of Light features colorful 3D graphics and diverse locations.

A two-dimensional logic game developed by Edmund McMillen (in cooperation with James Id) - the creator of such acclaimed titles as Super Meat Boy or The Binding of Isaac. The player takes on the role of a police officer and their goal is to point to the person who committed the crime, based on inconclusive testimony. What makes the job difficult however, is that the protagonist has a limited amount of time to make their decision, and each day they have to deal with another case, as well as the witnesses that make the player's goal harder to achieve, due to lying when describing the characteristics of the perpetrator. Each criminal's appearance is randomly generated, thus thousands of combinations can occur, which substantially extends the overall play-time offered by the game. Fingered comes with decent, cartoonish visuals.

The Room is a novel production combining elements of HOPA and logic game genre. The game is a remake of a critically-acclaimed mobile title, and was developed by an independent studio, Fireproof Games. The action of The Room takes place in the eponymous space, in which an extraordinarily complicated safe hides many secrets. The task is to get into the safe by solving a set of logic puzzles. The mechanics boil down to manipulating the elements of the lock, and fitting a key to slots that match it, as well as searching the room for hidden items. Some of the elements of the puzzles can’t be seen with bare eye – they can only be spotted when looking through a special lens. The authors managed to retain the dark atmosphere of the original; compared with the mobile version, the changes mainly concern the graphics.

The game brings a continuation to a series of mobile products developed by ATGames. Puzzle Craft 2 is an original combination of an economic strategy and a match-3 logic game. The game is set in a medieval-like world filled with magic. The player takes on the role of the new leader of a small village in order to transform the place into a prosperous empire. The player takes care of typical, management-related tasks, such as gathering resources, catering for the inhabitants, constructing new buildings or conducting scientific research; one has to manage the finances as well. Obtaining materials is not automatic in this game however - this element is represented by a mini-games based on typical match-3 mechanics. Compared to the original game, the creators introduced a massive number of changes and improvements in Puzzle Craft 2. As a result, the game comes with larger maps, diversified economy, and different environmental circumstances describing particular towns and villages.

We play as a pokemon trainer who duels wild pocket monsters. if we win, the pokemon we have defeated is added to our collection. Gameplay focuses on aligning three or more elements of the same kind into horizontal and vertical lines. We move small squares with pokemon icons around a small board. In order to attack, we have to align at least three pokemon icons of the same type (i.e. three Pikachus will create an electric attack). The more we use one pokemon, the stronger it gets. However, we have to remember we only have a limited number of moves to use in battle. If we use them all before winning, we automatically loose. Our enemies also have strengths and weaknesses, so it is advisable to plan ahead before battle.
