A sequel to the successful racing game released in 2015 and developed by Slightly Mad Studios (the creators of Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2: Unleashed). Since the game was partially financed on the World of Mass Development platform, players themselves were allowed to be a part of the development process. Similarly as in case of the first installment of the series, it is a realistic racing simulator. Less experienced players can enable various handicaps and assists to make the game less realistic. Project CARS 2 contains much more locations than its predecessor. There are more than 200 tracks to ride on by using various cars divided into 40 categories. The appearance and technical parameters of cars can be freely modified. The races take place in various single and multiplayer modes. The basic game mode is the single player campaign which can be played in cooperation with another player. Project CARS 2 also features online challenges and rankings.

The fourth full-fledged installment in the spectacular racing series Flatout started in 2004 by Finnish studio Bugbear Entertainment. After the cold reception of the third installment in the series, the task of creating the new entry was given to Kylotonn studio, the creators of the fifth installment of the popular rally series WRC. The game is strongly based on notes and suggestions of the community and promptly returns to the roots of the series. In the game the player traditionally participates in brutal races in which one can win not only by driving fast, but by eliminating the vehicles of the opponents as well. FlatOut 4: Total Insanity has the option to destroy the environmental objects, create astonishing crashes and sports a realistic destruction system – all the features that were the iconic traits of the series since it was created.

Known as TOCA Race Driver 2006 or DTM Race Driver 3, the game offers an extensive career mode, which casts the player in the role of a virtual driver capable of participating in 35 different championships related to various car classes. What is new is an ability to go through the driver's career focusing on one type of races only and gradually gaining access to faster cars. However, the player can choose to play in the World Tour mode from the very beginning, though it may come with some difficulties. As usual in the series, racing takes place on faithfully recreated tracks and the players receive dozens of licensed cars with different parameters. Apart from subsequent improvements in terms of the graphics, the game offers modified driving physics and an upgraded system of car damage. The player-controlled car can be now damaged by overheating, engine fade or tire burnout.

A spin-off installment of the racing game series from Codemasters, which, contrary to the major installments in the franchise, puts emphasis on crazier, purely arcade, and much more spectacular gameplay. Some of its features, namely the Gymkhan mode, have already appeared in DiRT 3. In the game, we take part in a grand motorshow and compete in several game modes divided into three categories. The first one is traditional racing (Lap Attack, Eliminator, Domination), the second, the Hooningan’s challenges, involves breaking objects or performing various stunts. However, at the core of DiRT Showdown is the demolition mode where we compete in special arenas, and our task is to survive, while eliminating as many opponents as possible. Implementing new game modes, the developers took care of more spectacular damage model, thanks to which our vehicles spectacularly break apart during the competition.

The basic rules of the game haven’t changed. During the gameplay, we use almost 50 car models on more than 60 diverse race tracks, filled with heaps of destructible elements. Among the nine crazy game modes, we can find Destruction Derby arenas, known from the game's predecessors, as well as stuntman challenges. A completely new system of physics and destruction has been created for the game, while the races have become even faster and more dynamic. The graphical layer has also been redone, now featuring a visual style completely different from the game's predecessors.

The game offers more than a few different modes and the overall number of them is quite impressive. The game includes many bike models created specifically for particular competitions: from classic cross bikes to high-power beasts belonging to the superbike category. What's more, the game features an extensive customization component - both the bikes and riders can be customized.

The game is a successor to the MotoGP series, for this installment was renamed after the developer established cooperation with Valentino Rossi, the famous Italian racer who was awarded the title of the world champion several times throughout his career. Therefore, the game is, once again, an extensive motorcycle racing simulator recreating the current Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The career of the champion himself is in foreground here, but thanks to licenses the game uses, all the authentic teams, motorcycles, racers, sponsors and tracks of the 2016 season are included in the game as well. The riding physics are even more realistic than usual, and a great variety comes with the opportunity to participate in rally events, an activity for which Rossi himself developed a strong passion.

The game mechanics have not been changed extensively – the developers emphasize the realism in their attempt to stimulate the experience of riding a real motocross bike. Thanks to the license of the Youthstream company, the game offers a wide variety of riders and teams from 2015 season along with accurately recreated official tracks, including indoor arenas. The game complemented with the customization of the rider’s looks and their machine’s parameters. The game features a wide range of single and multiplayer modes.

In the game we will find 13 championships to participate in, as well as 38 legitimate racing tracks and 42 authentic cars. The visuals, alongside the applied driving model and destruction system have also been subject to subsequent improvements; the developers have also expanded the possibilities for the modification of our vehicles. The plot, which connects individual races, is a complete novelty to the series; it casts us into the role of a young driver – Ryan McKane – and it is our task to guide him through the consecutive steps in his career.
