The fourth full-fledged installment in the spectacular racing series Flatout started in 2004 by Finnish studio Bugbear Entertainment. After the cold reception of the third installment in the series, the task of creating the new entry was given to Kylotonn studio, the creators of the fifth installment of the popular rally series WRC. The game is strongly based on notes and suggestions of the community and promptly returns to the roots of the series. In the game the player traditionally participates in brutal races in which one can win not only by driving fast, but by eliminating the vehicles of the opponents as well. FlatOut 4: Total Insanity has the option to destroy the environmental objects, create astonishing crashes and sports a realistic destruction system – all the features that were the iconic traits of the series since it was created.

A brutal motorcycle racing game and a spiritual successor to the legendary Road Rash that debuted in 1991 on Sega Mega Drive. It was developed by DarkSeas Games, an American studio established by experienced developers. In the game, we assume the role of a criminal who has been recently released from prison and has to regain his former position in a motorcycle gang. Soon, he discovers that his old friends from the gang were responsible for him getting arrested and imprisoned. The player’s decisions and behavior will determine the course of the story and one of its several alternative endings. In the game, we will take part in a number of racing challenges including fighting other gangs and their bosses, robbing driving trucks, or escaping the police. During the races, we can eliminate our opponents with a wide range of weapons such as bats, machetes, chains, and even firearms and grenades. Apart from the single player campaign, the game also offers a full-fledged multiplayer mode.

In contrast to DiRT - the other flagship franchise of the British developer, GRID: Autosport continues the tradition established by the TOCA Touring Car Championship and TOCA Race Driver series, that is, racing on asphalt tracks. The player assumes the role of a professional driver who competes against other racers, but he also has to care about his team members and stick to sponsorship contracts. This new installment offers 22 different tracks and over a hundred customizable cars, including both production models as well a unique prototypes - all of these account for an impressive number. The game offers improved visuals and a cockpit view, which is an element that GRID 2 was deprived of. The third installment in a popular racing series that was started and developed by the Italian developer Milestone Studios - creators of such series as Screamer, SBK, and MotoGP. In the game, one can traditionally participate in World Rally Championship races, which, thanks to the FIA license, feature a full set of tracks, teams, drivers, and machines that appeared in the 2012 racing season. This installment in the series delivers a number of changes and improvements - for the first time, apart from the presence of special sections on certain tracks, the game introduces drift contests and the so-called ‘gate-crasher’ races. In comparison with previous installments of the WRC series, the game introduces much more realistic track surfaces; additionally, the tracks have been narrowed, which results in increased difficulty level. In the career mode, the managing panel has been simplified a little, and the players are scored based not only on their positions at the finish line, but also on their driving style. The list of novelties is complemented with a new graphics engine that allowed the developers to represent the in-game models in better detail and implement improved lighting effects.
