FPP Shooter with four-person cooperation mode, which is a surprisingly dexterity and unrealistic part of the famous series. In production we move on to the times of World War II and embody soldiers of a special unit fighting at the back of the enemy. The creators focused on crazy humor and an exceptionally entertaining approach to the subject of war.

The game is available for free, but features optional microtransactions; only purely cosmetic items can be bought for real-world money. The gameplay consists of battles involving anti-terrorist and terrorist forces, taking place on dedicated maps.

The game sees us man a powerful cannon, defending an oil platform against the enemies trying to destroy it. A player assumes the role of the squad leader and is tasked with stopping the enemy organization before its members destabilize the global political situation.

Technically, the game is a big step forward, offering a richly textured 3D environment and the ability to look around freely with the mouse.

The maps on which we play are inspired by real battlefields of the Great War, like the streets of Carentan or the forests near Bastogne. We play as an infantry soldier and take part in dynamic, purely arcade battles – though not without a good dose of realism, visible in e.g. faithfully recreated weapons.

Although the original game (2011) was released exclusively for PCs, Hard Reset: Redux received console versions for the eighth generation of hardware as well. The game offers a journey to a grim world of the future, when the Earth has been almost entirely dominated by merciless robots who have devastated the planet.
