Technical aspects

In November 2024, the team at Chimera Entertainment released the game Songs of Silence. It combines elements of 4X turn-based strategy and RTS titles, enriched with card game and RPG elements. In February 2025, the studio released an expansion for their creation, titled Lighteaters. Subsequently, the developers worked on the first major expansion for their project, which is the Celestial Church described here.

New features in the expansion

Songs of Silence: Celestial Church introduces a story campaign dedicated to the titular faction – the Celestial Church. Its main character is one of the Inquisitors, whose task is to restore this faction to its former glory. The protagonist arrives in Gravina to reignite the flame of faith among its inhabitants by force. However, things quickly become complicated, turning the heretic hunter into the hunted.

The titular faction is available both across 4 story chapters and in skirmish mode. Along with it, the game introduces 2 new hero classes (Inquisitors and Truth Weavers), 8 units and 4 unit perks, 5 strategic cards (including 2 new building upgrades), and 5 battle cards, as well as the Procession - a mobile capital.
