The second major expansion to the third installment of Creative Assembly's fantasy strategy series. Total War: Warhammer III – Lords of the End Times takes us to the titular End Times and introduces four legendary lords, led by the mighty Nagash.
After the release of the strategy game Total War: Warhammer III in February 2022, its continued development became one of the pillars of Creative Assembly's activities. Total War: Warhammer III - Lords of the End Times described here is the second major expansion for this production. As the title suggests, it brings a true apocalypse to its world.
The biggest novelty introduced in the Total War: Warhammer III - Lords of the End Times expansion are the four titular lords appearing in the Immortal Empires campaign. The leading lord is Nagash - the great necromancer whose goal is to kill all living beings and take control over them.
The dark lord has nine Mortarchs at his disposal - undead lieutenants, among whom Arkhan the Black (Nagash's oldest ally) and Walach Harkon (who sees battles fought in his master's name as a source of his own glory) lead the way.
Nagash and the other legendary lords are equipped with unique units and individual, destructive powers. In addition to them, the expansion includes new maps and scenarios related to the theme of the titular End Times. The former are arenas of fierce battles, while the latter force us to make decisions that impact the future of the game's world.
Total War: Warhammer III - Lords of the End Times is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the base version of Total War: Warhammer III.
