Total War: Warhammer III - Tides of Torment

After the premiere of the strategy game titled Total War: Warhammer III, the Creative Assembly studio began the work on its post-launch development, dividing large expansions into three packages. The first one was released in April 2024. Another such big add-on is Total War: Warhammer III - Tides of Torment.

New features in the expansion

Total War: Warhammer III - Tides of Torment introduces three legendary lords, one each for the Slaanesh and Norsca races, as well as the High Elves.

High Elves

The last of the aforementioned factions has undergone significant changes. In addition to the lord (ruler of the Aislinn seas), it was enriched with previously unavailable units, such as Skycutter, a flying chariot harnessed to eagles, oceanids, or fog mages. The expansion also introduces the confederation mechanic for factions on the island of Ulthuan.

Slaanesh and Norsca

As for the legendary lords of the remaining races - we are talking about Dechala for the Slaanesh race and Sayl fighting on the side of the Norsca race. New units were also prepared for the needs of these races. Among them, the cavalry known as Pleasurekeepers and the monstrous champion fighting on the side of the Slaanesh race, as well as the Fimir nobleman and Chimera representing the Norsca race, are leading the way.
