A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

Child of Light is a 2D RPG that combines the elements of modern platformers and Japanese role-playing games. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood.

New Super Mario Bros. U is a platformer maintained in the classic, arcade convention produced by the development team of Nintendo under the leadership of Takashi Tezuka. The main characters, plumbers Mario and Luigi, go to the rescue of Princess Peach, whose castle was besieged by Bowser's army. The title has been designed with the capabilities of the Wii U console in mind.

A platformer with puzzle game features, developed by Upper One Game studio. The story of Never Alone is based on Inuit beliefs, with players taking control of a young girl from the Inupiaq tribe who sets on a dangerous journey with her white fox to save her people and stop the arrival of the eternal blizzard. During her adventure, she will meet many creatures from Inuit legends, such as Sky People, Rolling Heads or Blizzard Man.

Shovel Knight is a classical 2D platform game with elements of adventure and RPG, set in fantasy world. The title is a debut of the independent studio Yacht Club Games, hiring, among others, former employees of the experienced Way Forward studio. In the production, we impersonate a titular knight who, with the help of a legendary shovel-like weapon, fights the mysterious members of The Order of No Quarter.

An action 2D platform game starring a sympathetic creature of a protagonist. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and is the fifth full-fledged installment in the series created by Michel Ancel. This time the titular protagonist and his friend Globox must face nightmares which have created amazing worlds during the 100 years they have spent in the Crossroads of Dreams. Rayman must also free the Teensies captured by the clone of the deceptive Magician.

Remake of a classic two-dimensional platformer from 1989, based on the TV animated series "Kacze opowiesci". WayForward studio is responsible for the production of the new version of the game. Just like in the original, we play the role of Sknerus McKwacz, who tries to save the kidnapped nephews of Kaczor Donald.

Refreshed version of the highly acclaimed action adventure game. The player directs the actions of a young scientist - Lester Knight Knight Chaykin, who, as a result of an unsuccessful experiment, finds himself in a dangerous and alien world.

Boogerman 20th Anniversary is a remake of a platformer created by Interplay in 1994. The reedition refreshed the two-dimensional graphic design, preserving the plot and the general model of the game from the original. Again we play the role of the title character Boogerman, who has to travel through six worlds in an unclean alternative dimension and defeat the evil Booger Meister.

A box compilation of two installments of NES Remix series, which were released in 2013 and 2014. The title consists of remixed and modified levels from the most popular productions from NES consoles, such as The Legend of Zelda or Super Mario Bros. Each player has specific guidelines and goals.

Original, two-dimensional side-scrolling arcade game, which is a debut production of independent Finnish studio Frogmind. In Badland we take control over unspecified creature and our task is to lead it through levels filled with various obstacles and traps. However, the game is complicated by the fact that we are gradually joined by more of our hero's brethren, so as the game progresses we are forced to control more and more creatures.

A two-dimensional shooter which takes place in the gangster underworld during the 20s. The game was developed by a small Belgium studio Crazy Monkey. In the title the player assumes the role of a gangster whose family terrorizes the streets. However, trouble begins when a rival mafia appears in the city. What’s worse, hordes of zombies are conquering the streets.

A new version of the extensive editor that lets players create and share levels for the Super Mario Bros. series, developed for the Wii U console. We create two-dimensional platform stages using well-known elements from 8-bit Super Mario Bros. or its HD successor, Super Mario Bros U. We choose both environmental parts (pipes, brick etc.) and enemies. All of it is very simple and requires only the touchpad to operate.

Set in the reality of science fiction platformer developed by Over the Moon studio. The Fall was inspired by classic adventure and platform titles and the prose of Russian SF writer Isaac Asimov. The game takes place on a distant planet, where an injured spaceship pilot finds himself. Playing in his spacesuit artificial intelligence, called ARID, we have to save his life and help to survive in a strange and dangerous environment.

Oldschool platformer with elements of a slasher game inspired by such classic titles as Shadow of the Beast or the early installments in the Castlevania series. Slain! is a debut production of independent studio Wolf Brew Games. You play as a sole hero named Bathoryn, who tries to liberate the game’s fantasy world from the tyranny of seven evil lords residing in seven high towers. Each level in Slain! is split into two different sections.

An unusual 2D platform game inspired by the popular indie game Thomas Was Alone. In the game created by Japanese developers under the aegis of FullPowerAttack.com, the player gets to control a gentleman locked in a colorful box. The trap, in which the main protagonist is locked, has a certain interesting feature – each wall has a different color and can be expanded on the outside.

A combination of a two-dimensional platformer and a logical game. We take control over a funny nestling, beating the boards prepared by the manufacturers. The action is observed from the side, thanks to which we can see a significant part of the board and plan the action in advance.

Another extension to the warmly received Shovel Knighta, whose development is the responsibility of the authors of the original - Yacht Club Games studio. Unlike other DLCs, Showdown is not a feature addition - it introduces a new gameplay mode instead.

The hero of Exile’s End investigates a space colony to find out why it has lost contact with Earth. He soon finds out that his employers have been conducting some shady experiments. Gameplay wise, Exile’s End is a mix of platformer and action game. We explore the planet’s surface and fend off enemies with various weapons, with a boss waiting at the end of each level.

An endless runner game by A Crowd of Monsters, set in an alternative version of ancient Greece. As Perseus, you face the Titans of rap, pop, and rock music, who divert people's attention from the favorite genre of the Black Zeus, the Lord of Funk. Like in other endless runner games, you can't control the direction the protagonist is heading to or his speed — you can only react to obstacles by jumping or eliminating them.

The debut of a French developer known as Too Kind. The game is a two-dimensional platformer and was funded on Kickstarter. The plot in Pankapu was divided into two branches. On one hand, the game tells a story of the brave warrior Pankapu - as told by a father reading this story to his child, Jaha'rell. The actual gameplay is rooted in that story, for the player assumes the role of said warrior, who was created by the god of dreams in order to eradicate the nightmares invading this world.

A 2D logic puzzle platform game by XINESS Games. You lead a group of animals, which can only move in one direction: the parrot can move up, the raccoon can move left, and the goat can move right. When two of them meet, they merge into a new creature, who possesses the abilities of both of them. Dreamals consists of eighty levels, each of them set in one of four varied environments. In every level your task is to reach the key, which opens the passage to the next stage.
