12 Minutes With New Gameplay and All-star Cast

The creators of the independent adventure game 12 Minutes published a gameplay video with commentary, showing the basic mechanics of their work.

New gameplay from 12 Minutes - an independent adventure game about a married couple, who got stuck in a time loop and is forced to relive several minutes preceding a certain tragedy - appeared on the web. The video lasts about 6 minutes and is accompanied by the developer's commentary.

The rules governing the gameplay are quite simple - the player has the ability to interact with all objects visible in the apartment (e.g. lifting and combining them) and take various actions. The goal is to make such changes in the presented story to avoid a tragedy that concludes it - the death of one of the protagonists (or both). We do this by trial and error. Each time, when we fail, protagonist wakes up again in the flat, keeping all of the previously gained knowledge (thanks to which we gain access to new options).

12 Minutes is coming to PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game will debut this year (for now we do not know the specific date). It's worth noting that the work can boast a truly all-star cast - we'll hear such actors as James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe.
