McAvoy, Ridley and Dafoe on the Unique Indie Game 12 Minutes

New footage of the indie game 12 Minutes has appeared online. On the video, movie stars James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe and the game's creator Luis Antonio, talk passionately about the work on the game.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. We got some footage from behind the scenes of the production of the indie game 12 Minutes;
  2. We can hear statements of James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe, who lend their voices to the characters, as well as the game's creator, Luis Antonio;
  3. The title will debut on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 19.

Big names from the world of cinema appearing in video games are nothing new. We can see or hear famous actors not only in big AAA productions but also in more modest projects. An example of the latter can be 12 Minutes from Luis Antonio, an independent artist who took part in the process of creating The Witness. In this title we will hear such stars as James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class, Split, Atonement), Daisy Ridley (new Star Wars trilogy) and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man, Platoon). Editors of Collider recently had the opportunity to interview all three of them, as well as the game's creator. The video with their commentary, accompanied by scenes from the recording and motion capture sessions, among others, is available below.

As is usually the case with such behind-the-scenes footage, both the actors and Antonio himself speak with passion and enthusiasm about taking part in the dubbing sessions, the abilities of their co-workers, and of course the game itself - the emotions involved, the story being told, etc. And we must admit that the concept behind this game seems quite interesting. The protagonist of the title is a man who is stuck in a time loop. His task is to discover if his wife, who is accused of murder, is actually guilty and, perhaps even more importantly, to keep them both alive.

Hearing all this can certainly whet appetites ahead of the release of 12 Minutes, which is scheduled for August 19. The title is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
