New Call of Duty Should be Announced Soon

Activision should announce a new Call of Duty in the next few days. Several American athletes took part in a promo event, during which they had the opportunity to play this year's edition of the franchise.

Last year the series offered a battle royale mode instead of a story campaign.

It is no secret that this year we will receive another installment of the Call of Duty series, but so far the game has not been officially announced and we can only guess what it will offer. However, this state of uncertainty should soon come to an end. There are many indications that Activision will reveal the game in the next few days.

The source of this speculation are the twitter entries of several athletes from American football teams. They were invited to a private event, during which they could play the new installment of Call of Duty. Nothing concrete can be deduced from the photos provided by them, but such events are usually organized shortly before the official release of the game.

It is worth recalling that this is not the first time that the creators of this series have used sportsmen to whet the appetite of fans before the official announcement. Last year, shortly before the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, photos of basketball player James Harden, wearing a cap decorated with the logo of the game, have appeared on the web.

For the time being, the only thing we know about this year's Call of Duty is that it will offer not only multiplayer battles and cooperation mode, but also a story campaign, i.e. an element missing from Black Ops IIII. Moreover, it is almost certain that Infinity Ward studio is responsible for the project.

It is still unclear in what setting the next part of the series will be set. Last year there were indications that it might be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. A few weeks ago, on the other hand, a lot of emotion was stirred by rumors that the game could focus around the Pacific Theatre during the Second World War or the Vietnam conflict.
