A Plague Tale Innocence Coming in 4K and 60fps on XSX|S

The 2019 action adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence will be optimized for Xbox Series X and S. An update introducing 60 fps and 4K resolution will debut next month.

During today's Xbox Games Showcase Extended, Asobo and Focus Home Interactive announced that A Plague Tale: Innocence - a pretty successful action adventure game from 2019 - will receive an update on July 6 that will optimize the title for Xbox Series X and S. Expect 4K resolution and 60 fps. And here's a short trailer confirming the news.

The title was originally released on PC, PS4 and XONE. So it's possible that Sony's console will also get a similar patch in the near future. The move of the developer and publisher may be due to the game's sequel being announced during E3 2021. A Plague Tale: Requiem is set to release in 2022 for PC, PS5, XSX|S and Switch. The title will also be available from launch on Xbox Game Pass.
