A WWII flying game inspired by RAF’s 303 Polish Fighter Squadron announced

A real war story which has a book, and is also getting a movie, will be an inspiration for a WWII flying game. The story is that of a certain Polish squadron who fought bravely during the Battle of Britain.

Every war has its heroes, and the World War II had plenty of them. Some of these were Polish fighter pilots from the 303 Squadron, who earned their fame during the Battle of Britain, with the highest ratio of enemy aircrafts shot down to their own lost. They were memorialized in a famous book by Polish writer Arkady Fiedler, which is getting a movie adaptation next year. On top of that, a flying combat game inspired by that story is in the works. No details on the game were revealed so far, but it is said to be based on the book rather than on the upcoming movie.

The game 303 Squadron is being developed by a newly created studio Movie Games, working under PlayWay S.A., Polish publishing company known for such titles as Hard West (investor), Phantaruk or the upcoming Agony. The studio has two other games in their agenda, but there is literally no information about those. The plan is to release 303 Squadron in a year or so. More details on the game will be revealed in the first quarter of 2017.
