Age of Darkness Act III Approaches; Trailer Available

Age of Darkness: Final Stand, the popular Early Access survival strategy game from PlaySide, is slowly approaching the release of version 1.0.

1. During gamescom 2023 the devs released a trailer for Exile's Return, the third act of the campaign in Age of Darkness: Final Stand.
2. Exile's Return is expected to debut this winter.
3. Before that, a new update will be released, debuting on September 5.
4. The patch will allow for, among other things, skipping of cutscenes and quick data loading after defeat.
5. More interesting changes will appear in further patches. First of all, unit formations will finally be added to the game. In addition, the AI responsible for pathfinding on maps is to be heavily improved.
6. In addition, the developers are about to reveal a new hero.

According to the plans outlined shortly after the early access debut, the final stage of the game's development is to include not only the campaign, but also co-op mode multiplayer. It seems that the developers are already finishing the campaign, so only co-op will soon stand in the way of releasing version 1.0.
