The Boss Rematch mode is a fresh addition to Lies of P that gives you new challenges. So, how to get access to this mode?
Shadow releases are quite common these days. Oblivion Remastered is a perfect example. This new version of legendary RPG was launched on the same day it was officially announced. Last week we witnessed a similar situation. Lies of P: Overture was unexpectedly launched during Summer Game Fest 2025. In this DLC you will visit a past version of the city of Krat. There you will be able to help such characters as Rosaura. But developers prepared also something interesting for people who didn’t buy this expansion. Along DLC launch, an update to the basic version of the game was also released. The patch added Boss Rematch to the game. However, this mode is quite hidden, so you can miss it easily.
Boss Rematch is an endgame mode that you can access after reaching one of the endings. However, you don’t have to start New Game Plus to access it. When you complete the story, you will have two choices – return to Hotel or start NG+. You can simply choose the first option, if you don’t want to play again right away. Once in the hub, interact with Stargazer to get access to this mode (the new option will appear).
But what does Boss Rematch actually have to offer? It allows you to fight with bosses in two different modes:
So, it gives an additional challenge to your playthrough. But this is not everything – by playing this mode you can also unlock small cosmetic items (stickers for your item pouch).
At this point, it is unclear what criteria are used to determine the difficulty levels in this mode. However, the community suspects that it scales to the Legendary Stalker difficulty level (Not NG+), as it is also the fixed difficulty of the mode itself.
