Another Short Gameplay From Amnesia: The Bunker Focuses on Grenades

Developers from Frictional Games have once again released a some information about their upcoming game, Amnesia: The Bunker. The new short gameplay presents how grenades will work in this horror game.

We are still only a little over a month away from the release of Amnesia: The Bunker - the next installment of the popular horror game series by Frictional Games. The new production by the Swedish developers will take us to the front of World War I, to a bunker from which we must escape from a mysterious monster.

It will be, in its own way revolutionary installment, because The Bunker will enable the players to try to fend off the monster's attacks using firearms or exploding barrels (although the default use of these items will have more to do with solving environmental puzzles).

The fact that the fourth part of Amnesia will rely on slightly more dynamic gameplay, should not deceive you - it is still not an action game, but a full-blooded survival horror, in which most of the time we are the the game and not our opponent. Nevertheless, recently the developers presented us with another murder weapon - grenades.

The minute-long video shows the use of fragmentation grenades, which can be used to eliminate small fry like rats (in order to get to an important object, which they surround). However, the cost of using this throwing weapon is potentially significant - the explosion can alert the largest beast, which will come running. Then the only thing left for us is to run away.

Amnesia: The Bunker will debut on May 16, this year, on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
