Banishers Gameplay Demonstration Whets RPG Fan Appetites
A new video from Don't Nod's RPG, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, has hit the web. It presents the most important features of the title, including the skills of the two main characters, who use them to fight ghosts.
A new game from Don't Nod will be released later this year. Today, the team presented another video from Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which briefly introduces the story of the main characters, as well as the main mechanics. This seven-minute footage with many gameplay fragments is available below.
In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden the player will take on the role of two protagonists. Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith are lovers and Slayers who fight against various wraiths or phantoms. Unfortunately, Antea died and became a ghost herself - from then on, the couple searches for a way to bring her back to life.
The above footage includes a number of gameplay fragments that showcase the skills of the main characters. Antea, thanks to the fact that she ended up on the side of the dead, has supernatural abilities such as teleportation. Red, on the other hand, uses muskets or swords in clashes. The lovers' fight looks really impressive, and the new video proves that this RPG is worth keeping an eye on.
It should also be mentioned that choices are expected to be a very important part of gameplay in Banishers. It will be up to the player to decide the fate of many characters - both living and dead (with Antea in the lead). Previous games from Don't Nod (Life Is Strange or Vampyr) also emphasized decision-making.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will debut on November 7 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and PCs.
