Another impressive modification is coming to Bannerlord. Project Ice & Fire - for that is its name - will bring the reality of the TV show Game of Thrones to the sandbox strategy RPG.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a very mod-friendly game. This has already been proven many times by the content creators, releasing their more or less ambitious works online. All indications are that the latter group will soon nclude Project Ice & Fire, a modification based on the TV show Game of Thrones.
One of the creators reported on Reddit that the mod is created not only based on HBO's show, but also uses information taken from George R.R. Martin's books. The modders are also taking into account real events from human history. This includes the War of the Roses, which took place in England between 1455 and 1485.
Thus, the creator has made it clear that the work will include mainly armor and weapons known precisely from the 15th century period while taking into account the sophistication of the various cultures from the literary original and TV show.
The modder also assured that the team plans to include the entire world of Game of Thrones in its project - From Westeros to Asshai. The creators promise to release the first alpha version of Project Ice & Fire, once the first of the continents has been properly polished.
On the occasion of the announcement, the developer released several images offering a look at the game's world map and several types of armor. You can see them below.

Recall that this project is not the only modification developed based on the popular universe. One of the more popular mods for Bannerlord is Realm of Thrones, with the difference that it was developed only based onf George R.R. Martin's books.
