BF6 Early Access Beta is so popular that it is impossible to join the game. This is due to the huge queues.
Although there are still nearly two months to go before the release of Battlefield 6, the newest installment in the well-known FPS franchise, you can already sense the growing interest among players. This is all thanks to the Early Access beta, which was launched today and will last for 24 hours (after that time it will turn into open beta for another 2 days). The problem is that instead of enjoying the game, many players can only admire the counter showing the number of players currently waiting to enter the server. Even if you manage to enter BF6, some (un)lucky fans are encountering various crashes and are taken back to the line. In our article, we explain why the queues are so long.
The Battlefield 6 beta is undoubtedly very popular, as evidenced by screenshots taken by users showing their place in the queue. Some people are unlucky enough to even exceed 100,000! This is definitely not a pleasant situation for people who want to see BF6 in action right now.
Unfortunately, at this point, there is nothing that can be done about it. It is worth remembering that the Early Access Beta was launched today. Access to it is limited by the requirement to have a key (which could be obtained by watching the broadcast on Twitch, on the official Discord server or by being an EA Play Pro subscriber). Despite this, the waiting time and length of queue show that the servers are still overloaded. And we're still only talking about a certain portion of users, not the full list of those who will be testing the open beta this Saturday.
Electronic Arts representatives explain that this is the largest open beta in Battlefield history. In order to provide players with the best possible gaming experience and server stability, the developers are using queues. They emphasize that at peak of interest, such as shortly after launch, queue times will be high. Fortunately, the team is constantly working to reduce queues, as we learn from the Discord server. We need to be patient.
