Grand Theft Auto V was originally supposed to get a lot of smaller and larger DLCs. Looking through the list, it's hard not to feel sad that the company has bet only on the Online Mode.

Grand Theft Auto V, unlike the previous installment, didn't receive any story expansion. Instead, Rockstar Games focused on developing the Online Mode, which brought the company huge profits. In the original plans, the fifth installment was supposed to receive quite a lot of DLCs.
User Synth Potato has compiled a list of ten DLCs on X - five of which are story expansions - that GTA 5 players were supposed to get after the release. Moreover, he briefly described what each of them was supposed to have.
In the end, Synth Potato shared a fun fact about the mysterious mural on Mount Chiliad. From the very beginning, it was supposed to be a harbinger of the add-ons planned for the game. The UFO icon symbolized Alien Invasion, the cracked egg icon - Michael's new life in Zombie Apocalypse, and the jetpack picture represented the Agent Trevor DLC. Smaller icons probably represented the remaining packages.
It's really sad to see how much content for GTA V has been canceled. I wish it was different for the upcoming GTA VI, but I'm afraid that after the release, Rockstar will probably focus mainly on developing the online mode again.
