Battlefield 6 character skins have leaked, and players are relieved, as these skins retain a military and realistic style.
Launching an online game these days without offering purchasable skins is akin to intentionally leaving a large sum of money on the ground. That's why, skins will also appear in the upcoming Battlefield 6. Fortunately, the latest leaks suggest that they won't be as ridiculous as the skins from Fortnite or Call of Duty.
The "silly" looking skins were one of the players' concerns after showing the first trailer of Battlefield 6. These became popular after the success of Fortnite, and in the competing series to Battlefield, Call of Duty, you can play as a Ninja Turtle, for example. There is probably no need to add that on the battlefield; it simply looks comical and can effectively ruin immersion.
However, it seems that for now, Battlefield 6 fans can breathe a sigh of relief. One of the Reddit users shared some screenshots of skins that will probably be available to get or buy in the game. We owe this to a fresh leak from Battlefield Labs, which also confirmed some maps.
The appearance of the skins may still change before the game's release. Some of them have even been spotted in the trailer.
What stands out is the "normal" appearance of all the skins. They maintain a military and realistic style, which is characteristic of the Battlefield series. We won't find any cartoon or anime characters among them, or any bright, colorful outfits. However, it's possible that such skins will appear in the game sometime after the release, as some players have pointed out.
Just wait until Santa shows up, then everything will get going.
Nonetheless, for now, the vast majority of fans seem to be satisfied with the skins. According to the players, the skins look really good, although many people were drawn to the comically looking eyes of the characters (which might be fixed before their official release).
The skins are incredibly good. But these eyes are killing me, haha.
Oh, I get such skins.
The official release date for Battlefield 6 hasn't been announced yet, but leaked materials suggest that the game will launch on October 10th for PC, PS5, and XSX/S consoles.
By the way, the leaks have already confirmed over 20 maps that are supposed to be in the new Battlefield. These also sparked great enthusiasm among the series' fans (via Reddit).
