Cloud Chamber is Looking for a Writer for BioShock 4

A job offer revealed that Cloud Chamber is looking for a screenwriter to help develop BioShock 4.

We have known for a long time that the next installment of the BioShock series is being created. Until now, however, the project has not been officially announced, so we have to rely on other sources of information. One of the best are job advertisements. According to the most recent one, the team at Cloud Chamber, which is responsible for the project, is looking for a writer.

The studio wants to recruit a person who will help in creating the main storyline and, together with gameplay designers, take part in coming up with interesting mission objectives and side quests. A lot of experience is required, although Cloud Chamber isn't necessarily looking for people with many games to their credit, as completed television and film projects in thecandidates' resumes are equally valuable to the team.

A lot of excitement was stirred by the mention of the game's structure in the job offer. BioShock 4 is supposed to be an open world game with optional side quests in addition to the main missions. In fact, however, these are not new information. These details were already known last year, when Cloud Chamber was looking for a gameplay designer.

Recall that so far we do not know when the game will be presented. The project was announced at the end of 2019, so we will probably wait a lot for the first video materials. We know only that the game will bet on a new setting, instead of offering a repeated trip to Rapture or Columbia.

Many series veterans are working on the new BioShock, but the father of the brand is not among them, as Ken Levine is currently busy creating a new IP at Ghost Story Game.
