Operation Broken Fang Goes Live in CS:GO

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has launched Operation Broken Fang, bringing a new mode, additional maps and rewards, as well as better matchmaking.

BROKEN FANG IS, I.A.:
  • New game mode (Retakes),
  • Seven new maps,
  • Weekly missions with prizes,
  • For pass owners - Premier matchmaking system.

Operation Broken Fang, the tenth Operation for the online shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, went live. On this occasion a video promoting the event was also released. It lasts only sixteen seconds, but it is worth noting, as it is the first CSGO cinematic that Valve prepared in the last eight years.

Operation Broken Fang brings, among other things, a new game mode, called Retakes, in which three terrorists have to defend a planted bomb against four anti-terrorists. The skirmishes are divided into rounds and the first party to triumph in eight of them wins.

Broken Fang also offers seven new maps. In addition, we can buy special items in the operations store, paying with the stars we earn for our weekly missions. This enables us to purchase, among other things, unique spray tags, patches, weapons sets, weapon cases and agents from the SWAT unit and the criminal group known as The Professionals.

Additional attractions are waiting for those who will buy the operation's Pass for $14.99. It provides access to the so-called Broken Fang Premier. It is a new matchmaking system, in which two five-person teams fight against each other, and before the matches start, the game selects maps and imposes bans. In practice this simply means better matched team mates and sensible map rotation so that we don't just play on Dust 2 for example.
