Call of Duty Modern Warfare Beta Begins; PS4 Open Beta Tomorrow
The first phase of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta was launched. For now, only PlayStation 4 users who pre-ordered the game can play, and tomorrow the tests will be available to all PlayStation 4 users. PC and Xbox One owners will have to wait until next week.
Beta-tests of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, this year's installment of the popular series of shooters, have launched. For the time being, only PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered the game can play. Tomorrow they will be joined by the other users of this console. This testing phase will end on September 16.
Next week the second stage of the beta will be held. It will be open on PlayStation 4 from September 19-23. On PC and Xbox One, pre-orders owners will be able check the game on September 19 and 20, while the rest of the players will join the fun on September 21. All tests will be completed by the end of September 23.

Beta enables us to test a number of gameplay modes. We can check out 2v2 battles in Gunfight, traditional 6v6 multiplayer, 64-person battles and the immersive Realism variant.
In addition, beta will enable us to check the cross-play option, which allows the owners of different platforms to have fun together. This feature will be available from September 19, when Xbox One and PC users will join the test.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on October 25, this year, simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
For now, the devs are concentrating on revealing information about multiplayer modes, but at the end of September a presentation of the story campaign will be held. On October 7, the devs will present the Special Ops cooperation mode.
