Call of Duty Warzone - Invasion of Cheaters Enrages the Community

More and more cheaters are appearing in Call of Duty: Warzone. The problems are most serious in Asia, but they also affect other regions. What's more, some of the cheaters are as bold as they come.

Warzone has the same problem as a lot of other multiplayer games.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. More and more cheaters are appearing in CoD: Warzone;
  2. The problems are most serious on Asian servers, but cases of cheating appear everywhere;
  3. Some of the cheaters can be very brazen.

Call of Duty: Warzone, the free battle royale shooter based on last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, launched just a few weeks ago and unfortunately quickly aroused interest among cheaters. Nowadays , they are one of the most serious problems of the game - the community is complaining more and more about having their game experience ruined. There are several numerous threads devoted to this issue on Reddit.

The problems are most serious in Asia

"As a console player I fucking hate crossplay, people laugh at me and tell me its because I cant compete with M&K, I can and I will happily play against M&K all day long, when I bring up the fact it's because of the aimbots everyone seems to be in denial. I hope they add a option on xbox to disable crossplay" says user dsruby.

"I was killed through the wall by a guy with 40 "kills" in this game and I turned off cross play right away," notes cgrays12.

Some users point out that the problem is most serious on Asian servers - people often shoot through walls and hit enemies from incredible distances.

"I’m playing on Asian servers because I live in Japan and cheaters are running rampant here (Chinese cheaters in particular). People’s aim are staying glued to my head in the kill cams and I’m sure they can see through walls as they prefire round corners when I’m not making a sound). I’m on PS4 so I tried turning off cross play but now I can’t play with my friends who are on PC and my ping is through the roof. Please please nip it in the bud Infinity ward!," calls notanaijin.

Cheater brazenness knows no bounds

It is worth noting that some cheaters are so brazen that they openly encourage other users to use aimbots and even... offer their help. This is what Meikahael describes in his post, revealing by the way the name of the person whose behavior he noticed during one of the games.

Still other scammers openly mock the security system implemented by Infinity Ward, using nicknames like NiceAntiCheat. While sometimes the cheaters come across someone who aims to spoil the fun for them too, let's face it, it doesn't change much overall. It remains to be hoped that the developers will remedy the problem.

It is worth recalling that Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
