Want to know the answer to “people who sing or play instruments” in Cookie Jam. We’re here to help you out with every tricky Buzzword that comes your way.
Don’t be too surprised that another Buzzword in Cookie Jam isn’t about food or cooking, we’re switching things up a bit. This week is all about music, and it’s been a fun ride so far. We started off with an easy hint, but “European city of music” and “Instruments made popular from a video game” were definitely tough to crack. Now it’s time for the next one: people who sing or play instruments.
This one shouldn’t be too hard to guess, but those long Buzzwords in Cookie Jam can definitely be tricky. They might look easy at first, but finding the right fit can take a second. So, without further ado, here’s the answer:
We call someone musician not just when they create music, but also when they sing or play an instrument. Musicians can perform on their own or as part of a band, orchestra, or other group. A singer, for example, is definitely a musician, their voice is their instrument. But this can also include composers, who write music (with or without lyrics), and producers, who create and arrange it, often using digital tools and technology.
Whether they're performing on stage, writing songs behind the scenes, or mixing beats in a studio, they’re all part of the music-making world. So, in short: if someone makes music, whether with their voice, an instrument, or a laptop, they’re a musician.
Don’t forget to check our other Cookie Jam guides, we’re covering new Buzzwords each week.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
