CoD Black Ops - Cold War Open Beta System Requirements

Treyarch revealed the system requirements of the open beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. It was also announced when the test version will be available for download.

The new installment of one of the most commercially successful series in the history of video games will see open beta-tests, which will take place over the next two weekends according to the schedule below.

Weekend 1 - Pre-load from October 6

  1. October 8-9 - owners of PS4/PS5 pre-orders
  2. October 10-12 - other PS4 users

Weekend 2 - Pre-load from October 13

  1. October 15-16 - all PS4 owners and PC, Xbox One/Xbox Series X pre-orders
  2. October 17-19 - open beta for all users, regardless of platform

Treyarch also provided system requirements for the PC version. At first glance, they are almost identical to last year's Modern Warfare and look as follows:

Minimum requirements:

  1. OS: Windows 7 SP1 / 10 (64-bit)
  2. CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD equivalent
  3. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 / AMD Radeon HD 7950
  4. RAM: 8 GB
  5. Storage space: 45 GB of available space
  6. Other: DirectX 12, broadband Internet connection

Recommended requirements:

  1. OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  2. CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K or AMD equivalent
  3. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super / AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD Radeon RX 580
  4. RAM: 16 GB
  5. Storage space: 45 GB of available space
  6. Other: DirectX 12, broadband internet connection

Those who decide to test the latest version of Call of Duty will be get classic 6v6 modes, including team deathmatch or domination, and Combined Arms mode for 12v12 skirmishes. Fans of clashes with more players will be pleased with the brand new Fireteam: Dirty Bomb mode for a total of 40 people. The creators also swear that the maps selected for the beta are iconic for the Cold War period.

The release of the full version will take place on November 13, this year. In a few days we will know whether it is worth to mark this date in the calendar.
