CoD: Vanguard Will Get Free Trial Period; Multiplayer Test Tomorrow

Call of Duty: Vanguard's multiplayer mode will be available for free. Activision is preparing a two-week trial period that will give us a chance to test the game.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • CoD: Vanguard will get a two-week trial period;
  • From March 30 to April 13 we will be able to check out the multiplayer mode for free;
  • The trial will enable us to test both older and fresh maps.

Over the years we could play Call of Duty only by buying the full game. Soon, however, this will change as Vanguard will offer a trial period, thanks to which we will be able to test the game for free.

The trial will enable us to play in the multiplayer mode and will be active for two weeks - from March 30 to April 13.

What the trial will offer

The free trial period in Call of Duty: Vanguard will include multiplayer gameplay on some old and fresh maps.

We'll fight with other players in Casablanca and Gondola. These are locations which debuted in the game during the second season of support.

We will also test the newest map set in the Alps. It is a vast location, abounding in new vehicles. The goal on it is to occupy all bases.

Besides, the trial will enable us to play on many older, still popular arenas.

Why such special offer?

Activision never allowed players to test their games through trial periods. Players had to trust the reviewers or their instincts and simply purchase the title.

So some may wonder where this decision came from. Perhaps it is related to the poor results of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

The latest installment of the series failed to live up to expectations. Activision even admitted this in the latest financial report.

The free trial period may be a way to increase sales.
