Today, around 10 AM PT, Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, a set of refreshed versions of the first Command & Conquer and Red Alert will launch. On this occasion, a special message from Kane appeared on the web.
Today, all lovers of classic RTS games will have the opportunity to make a nostalgic trip to the 1990s. Command & Conquer Remastered Collection prepared by Petroglyph debuts on PC. The set will be unlocked on Steam and Origin at 10 AM PT. Until then, it can be purchased in pre-sale for $19,99. On the other hand, if we have an Origin Access subscription, we will get access to the collection without any additional fees.

Command & Conquer Remastered Collection consists of refreshed versions of two classic installments of the iconic real-time strategy game series from Westwood - Command & Conquer from 1995, which initiated the whole series, and the first Red Alert from 1996 - together with their expansions. The team at Petroglyph, including the creators of the the originals from more than two decades ago, upgraded resolution to 4K, improved the models of buildings and units, while preserving their original designs, improved the music by Frank Klepacki (in which he himself took part) and live-action cut-scenes, allowed for controls and interface, and adapted the multiplayer mode to modern standards. The collection will also include various bonuses - a jukebox or a gallery of extras, which will contain over four hours of additional videos, photos from the set and unpublished music. Additionally, mod support may appeal to many users. Some time ago, the creators promised to share the source code of the title, which will make it easier for fans to create their projects and distribute them online.

To heat up the atmosphere just before the launch, a new video appeared on the official Youtube channel of Command & Conquer, in which Kane, the legendary leader of Brotherhood of Nod, played by Joseph D. Kucan, known from the Tiberium sub-series, invites us to immerse ourselves again in the universe of the series. You can watch the material below.
