KCD 2 devs share a surprising and funny story about Mutt. „Bravery takes many form”
The developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Warhorse studio, have released footage showing work on motion capture scenes. The amusing video shows a man... playing the role of Mutt.

Anyone who has played Kingdom Come 2 has surely noticed that the animation quality is significantly better to that of the first installment. This is mainly because of the motion capture sessions, a portion of which was recently showcased by the developers at Warhorse Studios.
There would be nothing unusual about it, except for the fact that the content shared on X highlights the exceptional dedication of one of the actors in depicting... a dog named Mutt.
Bravery takes many forms - some even involve barking on set. Meet the dedicated actor behind Mutt in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - we read in the post.
Mutt in the game is a fully CGI effect, but the scene above was clearly meant to help the devs capture the realistic movements of his human companion, for instance, while petting the pet.
As you can easily guess, the video was very well received by players. One of them even ventured to comment that at one point, the actor portraying Mutt lifted his back leg, which we didn't see in the game. He summarized his comment with just one word, "sus."
The commitment of the Warhorse team deserves praise, but it should be noted that Platige Image, which is behind the impressive trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, went a step further by bringing a horse to the shooting set.
