Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Without Romance; V Will Have Other Things to Do

In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, CD Projekt Red will add many new things. However, additional romance options will not be one of them. We know why.

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 might have expected Phantom Liberty to bring new romance options. However, this will not be the case. Marcin Momot, community manager at CD Projekt Red, wrote today on Twitter:

This will leave us with the four romance options we know from the base game, namely Panam, Judy, Kerry and River ("adventure" with Meredith Stout doesn't count in my books). However, perhaps the team will add more sex workers, since there are only four of them in the game. Judging by comments on Twitter, some players - demanding new erotic scenes - would applaud this.

As for the changes we can expect with the release of Phantom Liberty, these include new skills and cyberware, a significantly improved police system, the ability to fight from vehicles, improvements to the inventory screen, AI and graphics, and much more.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is scheduled for release on September 26, 2023 for PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
