Nvidia and CD Projekt RED informed that on the day of its release Cyberpunk 2077 will support both ray tracing and DLSS 2.0. Everything seems to indicate that the gameplay shown yesterday was lacking these features.

IN A NUTSHELL:
Shortly after the Cyberpunk 2077 presentation, Nvidia informed that CD Projekt RED's game will support ray tracing and DLSS 2.0 technologies. The information is not surprising - reports on this subject appeared as early as last June (although the mention of DLSS 2.0 is a novelty and undoubtedly good news for Nvidia card owners).
We also learned a number of details about the implementation of real time ray tracing. We can expect the technology to be used in several areas:
The analysis conducted by Digital Foundry suggests that the aforementioned effects were not present on yesterday's gameplay. Interestingly, website's experts received material in 4K resolution from the developers, running at 30 fps. Some journalists and youtubers, on the other hand, point out that the version they played was running in 1080p - some (e.g. SkillUp / Laymen Gaming) also mention RTX effects enabled. This suggests that the so-called B-Roll (material sent to journalists) is different from what the people invited to the presentation played (or at least some of them).
This means that the game may have the potential to look even better. The only thing that remains to be hoped for is that the game will be properly optimized, and all this visual splendour will also work decently on weaker PCs. Nvidia assures that ray tracing and DLSS 2.0 will be available in Cyberpunk 2077 on day one - November 19 this year.
