Dark and Darker is a Dungeon Crawler game. This production is quite difficult, as you have to fight with monstrs and other players. The only possible escape along with your loot are portals. In this guide you will learn how to extract in Dark and Darker.
How to extract in Dark and Darker
When you decide after a while that you have already collected good and useful items and want to keep them, you should extract. The only way out of the game along with the collected loot is to find the blue portals. However, it is worth mentioning that their location is not known at the beginning. The portals only appear a few minutes after the game starts. So the question arises: How to extract in Dark and Darker?
In order to open the portal, you must first locate the blue headstone-like objects. Then all you have to do is approach a portal and interact with it. The portal will activate for a short time. Once it is activated, there is nothing left to do but enter it to get extracted from the dungeon. With this you will be free and keep everything you found during the gameplay.
It is worth watching out not only for threats in the form of aggressive opponents. The white barrier can also be problematic. Staying outside of it will cause you to continuously lose health. The map shrinks all the time and tightens around the location of the portals.
Red portals in Dark and Darker
It is worth noting that there are also other types of portals in Dark and Darker, not just blue ones. There are also red portals. However, they do not enable you to escape. They will send you deeper into the dungeon, gaining access to more difficult rooms, but also better rewards. Their activation is the same as with blue portals, you just need to interact with them (using the "F" key by deafult).
Red portals can be found much more often in High-Roller Dungeons. It should be noted that all entrants must pay a 70 gold fee to enter a High-Roller Dungeon. This is a type of dungeon where players can earn much better rewards, however, the difficulty level is greatly increased.
