Dave the Diver – console release
Version 1.0 of Dave the Diver was released yesterday on PC, Steam. Many players are charmed by this title and wonder about ports on other platforms. Luckily, the developers are not rejecting this idea. On the Steam forum it is possible to find a FAQ, which states that console version of the game is considered.
Q. What platforms is it on?
Currently, DAVE THE DIVER is available only on Steam. We are considering expanding our platforms to include consoles, and we will announce this decision once it has been made.
The similar FAQ can be found on the official Discord channel. However, it is also possible to read ther developer’s comment which openly states that the console release is planned, and fans should wait for more information. Sadly, there is no official date yet.
The game was fully released, so we may assume that creators will start working on consoles port soon (if the work is not in progress already). Taking into consideration that Xbox Series X and PS5 are very popular, we may assume that they will be included. For now, we have to wait for an official information on the subject.
On the other hand, a Switch port is certain. We may see this information at the end of the trailer. There is an information which states that the version on Nintendo console will be in 2023.
