DC Films Allegedly Wants to Remove Cyborg From The Flash; Ray Fisher Denies

Cyborg's guest performance in The Flash was doubtful, until DC Films decided to officially scrap it. However, Ray Fisher, who plays the role, is of a different opinion.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • In the wake of Ray Fisher's recent declarations, Warner Bros. decided to resign from his performance in The Flash and completely ignore Cyborg in the aforementioned work;
  • The actor believes that the information is not true, and he has not publicly resigned from the role of the aforementioned superhero, nor has anyone discussed his possible resignation;
  • Fisher considers the actions of DC Films' authorities to be overly cautious and seeking to present itself in good light before the public.

Ray Fisher's conflict with Warner Bros. continues, although the company wanted to cut it off in a rather hard and unexpected way. After the actor's last announcement, in which he declared that he would not appear in any DC film with which Walter Hamada (the head of DC Films) would be associated, the label allegedly decided to completely remove Cyborg from The Flash. The Wrap reports that the producers are not interested in hiring someone else in exchange for Fisher and have no problem ignoring Victor Stone as character in the further development of this cinematic superhero universe.

However, there is a person who is denying the reports coming from The Wrap - and it's no one else than Ray Fisher himself. The actor demanded that the content of the article be modified as soon as possible, as it is supposed to be untrue. The star emphasizes that he did not publicly resign from the role of Cyborg, and no one from Warner Bros. consulted him on his resignation in either The Flashand subsequent films. Moreover, Fisher considers the rumors about the superhero's removal as an attempt by WarnerMedia to avoid a backlash on the Internet.

The conflict has long seemed extremely strange and turbulent, but is slowly becoming full of contradictions and absurdities as well, as both sides claim the opposite and constantly bounce the ball back. Because how can we explain the fact that in yet another text from The Wrap we read about Warner Bros. accusing Fisher of not wanting to cooperate with the investigating authorities in the matter of abuse on the set (connected with Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns) when at the same time the actor informs that serious consequences are already being drawn against these gentlemen? The answer is simple - one of the sides is lying. But at this point it is difficult to say which one.
