Flood of New Materials Shows First Minutes of Deathloop

A ton of video footage from the presentation of Deathloop, organized by Arkane for selected websites and magazines, has appeared on the web.

DEATHLOOP IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: Arkane Studios
  2. Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
  3. Genre: action game
  4. Platforms: PC, PS5
  5. Release Date: September 14, 2021.

There are still almost four months left before the release of Deathloop, the latest project of Arkane, the devs known for the Dishonored series. Waiting for the game's debut should be made more pleasant by a sizable set of gameplay videos, which have just hit the web. They show mainly scenes from the early portion of the game.

The flood of videos is due to the fact that the editors of several websites had the opportunity to take part in Deathloop's presentation organized by Arkane. The result is the publication of gameplay footage and previews of the game. Such materials were released by Eurogamer, Game Informer, GameSpot, GamesRadar, IGN, PC Gamer, PlayStation Blog and Shacknews, among others.

Deathloop is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. The game will be released on September 14, this year, simultaneously on both hardware platforms.

It is interesting to note that there is no Xbox Series X/S version in the plans. Arkane, the studio responsible for the game, is owned by Microsoft as a result of recent acquisition of the ZeniMax Media group. This is due to the fact that the acquisition took place in September last year, and the agreement providing Sony with exclusive rights to console editions of Deathloop was signed earlier.

The terms of exclusivity deal are not publicly known, but most likely this is a temporary period and in that case the game may also come to Xbox Series X/S next year.
