Destiny 2 mission Fallow walkthrough. How to progress and remove Boss shields

Destiny 2 received a new expansion yesterday (July 15, 2025) called The Edge of Fate. DLC, in addition to introducing fresh enemies or destination abilities, gives players a number of new interesting missions. One of them is Fallow, which players may have problems with, especially because of one boss that has a shield which is difficult to get rid of. Mission Fallow walkthrough in Destiny 2

The first goal of the mission is to get to the Agricultural Center. After defeating the enemies, you will find yourself in a room that has a transparent wall. You can't pass through it, so interact with a device that emits a bright light, called Matterspark. You will turn into a small ball. Then go through the vent, which is located in the next room. On the way out, you will be attacked by more opponents. Defeat them and go ahead.

In the next room a wave of robots and drones will be waiting for you. After clearing the location, you must destroy the cube, which is connected to the vent. Once you've done that, use the Matterspark, which will again turn you into a small ball. Now enter the vent and follow it. In the room you entered, you will notice a device that you must destroy. Then approach the console and perform the Input Aionian command action.

Next, while fighting the waves of enemies, you will have to Preserve the Aionian Food Supply. They are protected. Shoot at the cubes that are connected to them. Interact with 3 of them. After that, place the Rally Banner, as you will face a boss. You will have to defeat the Vex.

To do it, you must kill the wave of robots. The snag is that there will also be a powerful boss - Devastator Mind. The key to defeat it is to destroy its shield. Once its health segment is gone, it will be immune to any type of damage. When it happens, you have to once again destroy the cube protecting the hole, then use Matterspark to turn into a ball and go through the ventilation shaft. At its end, you will again find a device that you must damage. This step should be repeated each time the health segment of the boss disappears.

After everything, go to the terminal and acquire offline data. The mission will end, and a box will appear in front of you, which you can open.
