Here’s what you need to know if you are planning to play Destiny 2 beta on PC. Bungie Software shares the date of beta and PC specs.

While the users of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have already had a chance to try out Destiny 2, PC players are still waiting for their turn. Now, Bungie Software has announced the exact date of the game’s beta start on PC – the tests will run through August 28-30. First to play will be pre-order holders – for them the early access starts on August 28. Other players will join them a day later, on August 29. And finally, August 30 marks the end of beta.

For now, there are no details about the content of Destiny 2 beta on PC. However, it is quite likely that it will be the same, or quite similar to the console version. On XONE and PS4 beta players could play through the first story mission as well as test a co-op Strike and a competitive multiplayer mode for two teams of four.

Destiny 2 will launch on PC on October 24, 2017. XONE and PS4 players will get the game earlier – on September 6.
