Diablo 4 Visuals Compared on All Platforms

Interesting visual comparisons of various versions of Diablo IV - from older consoles to PCs and next-gen devices - have appeared online.

On Friday, began the first stage of the Diablo IV beta, enabling the players to see how the latest installment of the hit series from the Blizzard Entertaiment performs. During the testing, an early version of the game was made available on both PC and consoles, allowing the ElAnalistaDeBits channel to prepare video footage comparing the game's visuals on different hardware platforms.

Three videos have been made available. The first one shows how the game looks on the most powerful platforms, i.e. PC and Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles, while the other two compare Diablo IV on different generations of consoles from the same family.

Blizzard's games have never shocked with level of visual sophistication and the charm of their setting has always been based on great visual styles. Diablo IV does not break with this tradition. The version for last-gen consoles has noticeably weaker textures and lighting, but even on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the game looks attractive. Importantly, on XONE and PS4 the title holds a stable 30 frames per second most of the time.

The currently ongoing beta phase is only available to those with preorders and will end today at 9 p.m. CET. During the second phase of testing, which will take place from March 24-26, the latest Diablo will be available for all interested parties - without having to buy the pre-orders

Recall that the premiere of Diablo IV will take place on June 6, 2023. The game will hit PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
