Entire Dying Light 2 Can be Completed in Co-op

Techland announced on Discord that in contrast to the first installment, Dying Light 2 will be fully playable in co-op. However, the game will not feature a base building system.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Dying Light 2 will be playable in co-op from the first minute to the last;
  2. However, we won't find a base building system in the game.

Techland's community manager informed that in contrast to the first Dying Light, the entire second installment will be playable in co-op with friends (Dying Light 2 will also enable us to play simultaneously with three other people). The information was shared on the brand's official channel on Discord (via Gaming Tweaks).

It is worth noting that in practice it is not a big difference - the original Dying Light could be completed in the company of friends in 95% (the exception were the tutorial and the very end of the game). However, co-op enthusiasts will probably welcome the fact that Techland's latest game will enable them to play with friends from the first to the last minute. What's important, due to the highly non-linear nature of Dying Light 2, the world will adapt to the decisions made by the player hosting the game. By the way, we also found out that Dying Light 2 will not feature a base building system.

Dying Light 2 is coming to PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S consoles. The title has no set release date (its debut has been delayed several times ), but it should come out this year.
