Dying Light 2 Storage Requirements on PS5

Thanks to PlayStation Game Size twitter account, we got to know the probable installation size of Dying Light 2 on PlayStation 5. The newest work by Techland will not be particularly gluttonous in this regard.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Dying Light 2 will likely take up to 21.099GB on PS5;
  2. This value does not include the patch, which will be released on day one;
  3. The pre-loads will be launched on February 2.

Dying Light 2 is still a few months away from release, but we've already found out how much space it's likely to take up on PlayStation 5. The information was revealed by the usually very knowledgeable twitter account PlayStation Game Size. According to it, owners of Sony's latest console will need to set aside at least 21,099GB of disk space. This is not much for a modern title.

This value does not include the day one patch, which will launch on the day of release, so ultimately the game may take up a little more space. Pre-loads of Dying Light 2 are to start two days before the release, that is, on February 2.

Until the official confirmation of the game size, this information should be approached with caution, but PlayStation Game Size is rarely wrong.

Unfortunately, at the moment we know the size of the game only on PlayStation 5. We do not know how much it will take on other consoles. The devs also still haven't revealed the system requirements for the PC version of the game.

Dying Light 2 will be released on February 4, 2022. Initially, the release was planned for December 7 this year, but the project was delayed. It will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S simultaneously. Nintendo Switch owners will also be able to play the title thanks to the use of streaming technology
