Rivers and Lakes on New Screenshots From ETS2 Heart of Russia

SCS Software has released a handful of new screenshots from the upcoming Heart of Russia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. They show the rivers and lakes of Russia.

Developers from SCS Software have shared new screenshots from Heart of Russia, the upcoming expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2. We can see rivers and lakes of the European part of Russia, which will be expanded in the DLC.

Such forms of water reservoirs are not only pleasing to the eye, some - such as Vyshnevolotskoye Reservoir - also have historical and social value (the said reservoir is used for fishing and as a renewable source of energy). So the developers are making efforts to include them in the DLC.

There will also be rivers characteristic for the region, such as the Volga, Oka, or Svir - the last of the three we can even cross by a ferry together with our truck. In reality, this is possible only for cars, but the developers considered such a solution desirable due to the layout of the map.

Unfortunately, we still don't know when exactly the Heart of Russia DLC will be released. The only thing we have is an approximate date - 2022. We have to wait patiently for more details.
